David Benson
Man of a thousand voices

David rose to fame following the incredible success of his debut solo show about Kenneth Williams. After winning a Fringe First at the Edinburgh festival in 1996, and touring the UK extensively, David performed the show in London's West End. He now has six shows in his repertoire.

In The Scarifyers, David Benson is best known as the recurring character Aleister Crowley. But he has also essayed a number of other memorable roles, including General Warlock (The Nazad Conspiracy), Charles De Saxe, Arthur Nesbitt and Alexander Chetwode Caulfield-Browne (The Devil of Denge Marsh).
